| Your
submissions will be assessed by iida Jury, which will comprise experts
and authorities in design from Korea and other countries. The judging
criteria are at the discretion of the jury. |

| Award winners
for "iida 2009" will be announced via our homepages (iida.kr,
designboom.com, designflux.co.kr) on September 14 2009 (Mon.). The
award-giving ceremony and opening ceremony of DESIGN KOREA 2009 will
take place at Songdo Convensia, Incheon, Korea on December 2, 2009.
The six winners of the main awards will be invited to the ceremony
and the travel expense will be covered up to USD 3,000 for each winner.
If the winner is a Korean national, we offer an opportunity of overseas
training equivalent to the invitation expense.

| Making design
part of people's lives is also a philosophy of "iida 2009."
Now is time for design to come down from the exclusive provinces of
design experts to the public domain and become something everyone
can try and enjoy. "iida 2009" grants global web users the
right to assess the submissions. The voting for "iida 2009 Netizen's
Choice Award" will occur for 42 days from October 14 to November
16. |

| Exhibition
of all winners of "iida 2009" will be part of DESIGN KOREA
2009. “iida 2009" grants a voting right to all visitors to DESIGN
KOREA 2009, which are expected to exceed 100,000 in numbers. The voting
will take place from December 2 to 8, 2009, the exhibition period
of DESIGN KOREA 2009. The winners will be announced via our homepages
(iida.kr, designboom.com, designflux.co.kr) on December 9, 2009. |

2009 Selection: Many |
All winners
of “iida 2009” Selection will be given honorable mention and an exhibition
catalogue, provided that winners of non-Korean nationalities cover
the mailing cost.
The awards, honorable mention and prize money of "iida 2009"
will be given by the Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City.
The prize and awards of "iida 2009" may change.
For winners of non-Korean nationalities, tax deduction on the prize
money will follow the tax codes of their home country.
Winners of Korean nationality are exempted of income tax according
to Article 18 of the Enforcement Decree of Income Tax Law. |
